I finished up at Lockheed Martin Owego at the end of March. I worked quite extensively in the CO and FI modules as well as working with DMS, GOS, and the ALV grid control. It was also good to work in the defense industry (CMM level 5) where the methodology of creating and approving specs is enforced. On the lighter side I was exposed to Japanese cuisine anddiscovered that I like sushi.
Between March and April I took a 9 day trip to China sponsored by the Syracuse Chamber of Commerce. It was amazing! We visited Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Suzhou. We saw the Great Wall, Forbidden city, an Emperor's tomb, the olympic village, and much more. I even had a custom made suit tailored. The main reason I booked the trip was because of the price - only $1700. Which included air fare, hotels, all meals, and transportation. They are doing another trip in November so if anyone is interested check the web site at www.syracusechamber.com. Anyone can sign up (you don't have to be a member or live in the area).
A few weeks ago I started my current project, an implementation at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI. This is a great opportunity as I am working with the latest versions of SAP including ECC6.0, XI/PI, EWM, SCM-APO, CRM, BI, and modulesrelated to the automotive industry (SPM, CDP {custom sap code for Ford}).
Lastly the ABAP course I taught this semester just wrapped up and it was a good experience. I look forward to teaching another.
Enjoy the spring and summer!!! All the best.
Stay in touch! (please share a personal email address so that we don't lose contact)
